Back when I was originally looking into the Navi Worlds way back when... One of the reasons I have decided to go with them (over the Bentleys) was due to how I don't see them in public too often compared to other blingy watches Breitling offers.
Yet, I see so so many worlds for sale...why is this watch being sold by so many people these days?

I had my world for only 6 months before i sold it...the shortest time i've had a watch for. Part of it in my opinion is the bulkiness of the watch, & the other reason is that i simply got bored with it very quickly for some reason.

Hmmm... thats odd to me due to how complex the watch is. You think you would get sick of a watch that is simplistic, yet I see them for sale left and right!

I hope I don't get sick of mine! :D

Anyone else?

Wearing mine today. Had a meeting and an exec. from a hotel chain that is notable for a w in it's moniker pointed it out and commented on how much she liked it. Personally, it is a tad on the small side for me, but I like it because it does not get hung up on my shirt cuff or sweaters (jumpers for those in the UK).

Perhaps people are selling them because it's an easy sale! There's always a "WTB a Navi World" in the sales forum. Supply and demand.

Personally, I could never get sick of it. But then again, that's not my personality. I'm not the buy and sell type. I put a lot of thought into the watches that I do buy, because I buy with the intention of keeping.

I've owned two Worlds, Black on SS and Silver on Brown Croc. One day I was in the office and an out-of-town VP came in to conduct a training, he was wearing a Silver World on SS, I said to myself 'Holy $hit that thing looks gawdy. I had never seen the world on someone else before that day and I thought it looked strange, blingy, and overly busy....so off the world's went and onto the for-sale boards. They were once my Breitling grails but they met the same fate as many of my other Lings....both buyers who bought them from me, oddly enough, are both attempting to sell/trade them at this very moment.

You coveted yours for quite some time, just enjoy it and don't worry about why others got sick of theirs or why others are selling theirs...it's still a solid watch.

I've been on the hunt a whole for one and this is the kind of thing I'm worried about. In all honesty I've tried the World on a number of times and I just think it'll be too flashy.  I might be looking at the standard Navi or the Navi 01 (non - LE) to fill my chronograph needs.

The watch isn't universal, I would say people like to do everything in there watch. The Navi's aren't meant to get wet like 95% of all the other Ling's ,which is why I think they are for sale regularly.

If 46mm is on the small side . . . you must be a big dude.

MacApple, I see your point! They need to start making these things Water Resistant! :D

I'm selling my 3 month old World for the simple reason that I'm 51 and when I look at the watch it takes me about 2 min to tell what time it is as there's much is going on with the beautiful silver dial. Once I sell this baby I'm buying a PAM with big numbers:)

I've had two Worlds - a blue dial on blue croco (later on the bracelet) which I sold due to a preference for black or white dial watches, and a silver/white dial World on the bracelet that I still have and love.

For me it's simply the best sized Navi ever. The fine Navitimer construction means it's inifinitely more wearable than an SA, but the size means it doesn't feel small. If it had the B01 (or a variant of it) inside it'd be the perfect Navi IMO. Yes it doesn't look overly understated on the bracelet, but it's not blingy IMO...... can of course you can just put it on a strap to tone down the shininess if needs be. It's a great watch.
