after a 5 week wait i finally got my new soII. seems like people either like it or hate, for myself i like it. at first glance it seemed a little small, i think due to the black bezel but after wearing it you can tell its a full size 42mm. i wasnt sure how i would like the bezel in person but i realy like it. it has great lume on it compared to my seawolf. i think if breitling made this in a 44mm and 15-16mm thick a lot more people would like it. here are some quick pics, i hope you like them. steve Image Image Image Image Image

Very nice combination with the Ocean Racer, looks good!
The size would suit me just fine, enjoy.

Congrats on the new watch Steve!! I agree that is seems to be a love it, or hate it watch...but I am in the love it camp. I do think that it wears smaller than 42mm, but I am ok with that. I really like the raised numerals on the dial, and the yellow ring just seems to be the perfect color for a Breitling.

I have never seen real pics of it on the Ocean Racer strap...mine is on the DPII, but I really like your pictures. It might be time for me to go out and get an Ocean Racer strap as an extra option.

Very nice pictures. This is what gets me in trouble. It's a bit to small for me though. It's actually smaller in person than the size would make you think.

thanks guy's, im realy digging this one. the dial is an easy read with the big arabics. im glad i switch from the dpII to the o.r. strap, i like them both but thought the o.r. was a little more sporty. as far as the size im good with it, after wearing it for awhile now i dont even notice it. thanks again steve

Do not concern yourself with other people's opinions of your watch. I have a piece that has received both prais and condemnation as well and I could not care less. You have an outstanding watch and I have to say it screams Breitling Tool Watch. If that is what you were going for then you are dead on target. If you just wanted a watch you love and can enjoy, that is something only you can answer. If you want to know what I think, It is beautiful and I hope you have many years of enjoyment with it.
Best health, Frank :lingsrock:

I do love the look I just wished it wore a little larger...that was my only issue with it. It's sporty, the yellow ring is awesome, and I like the rubber bezel a lot. Congrats and enjoy it!!

:yeahthat

+1

And the OR is sooo comfortable, especially with the micro-adjustment possibilities of the deployant strap.

Wear it well.
