Not sure if any of you have seen this already as they seem to be doing the rounds, but this Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London is superb! They are all quite long clips (8 to 15 mins), but this guy (an ex Sergeant-Major, and you gotta love Sergeant-Majors!) is brilliant - both funny and educational if the history of the Tower of London is your thing. I've never been round the Tower myself so my g/f and I were looking at making a quick trip up to London for it, and after seeing these clips I going to have to insist on being on this guys tour party!

Really cool D8, typical English humor, thanks for sharing.

That reminds me, it's been a while since I've been there, actually that was 15 years ago  and I was newly married.

PS The nearby Tower Hill Hotel is very convenient although a bit pricey.

Was Archie present when this was taken?

Just listen to the last 20secs of part 4, I think the Yeoman is addressing himself to Archie

This is the funniest thing i've seen on YouTube.   This bloke should be Prime Minister, or at least presenting Top Gear !!. Love the line "Has anyone not yet been insulted... ?" in the third video.

Also in the third video, what I found exceptionally good, and true, is when he talks about history books:

"History, and history books, are usually written by the winners, that's why French history books are empty" :uplaugh:

The start of the second one amuses me when he says, "Come on. I don't care if you are limping, catch up. It's an amazing fact the elderly don't realise how little time they may have left. This could be your last holiday so make the most of it. Cram it all in before you die".

Shouldn't laugh as it comes to us all in the end, but I could help cracking up over that one!
