Hello All,

Here's the story.

I have always wanted a Breitling B1, but never had a chance on getting my hands on one.

Me and my wife was on holiday in Jakarta, Indonesia for the new year break, and decide to visit a Breitling showroom INTIME, which was conveniently located in an upmarket mall in downtown. Guess what, my jaw dropped when I saw a B1 on display!

Meticulously checking the watch and requesting to view all the paper work and yes it is a brand new B1! Although the box seem to come from the newer Airwolf series, but that don't really matter.

International warranty and a peace of mind from a long discontinued watch seals the deal.

Grinning my teeth and a stamp of approval from my wife, payment was made. :D

Here are some photos to share.

Here is the box

Fantastic find! Congratulations on the acquisition and wear it in good health! BTW, you also have one extra removable link in the 874A Fighter bracelet, an unexpected bonus for certain!!
Best,
Ron

Thank you all for the well wishes!

Hi Ron, I didn't know how many extra links the watch comes with, by the look of it, sure can fit Popeye's forearm.

Will be replacing the steel bracelet with a rubber claps, will take some photos when it arrives.

Thank H2F,

The amount of fine watch dealers has grown exponentially in Jakarta in recent years, you can pretty much get anything there now.

Hello All,

As mentioned earlier, I am not a big fan of polished steel bracelets. Therefore, ordered a rubber claps strap from http://shop.ebay.com/bandfever/m.html

I might get bombarded by members here on why should I use some cheap rubber strap. First of all, I have always loved rubber straps, also bandfever proberly have the best value and quality for money on rubber staps online, so do check out his items for sale.

Enough said, here are some pictures I would like to share with you all. Sorry for the bad lighting.

Oh ya, the watch weights much lighter now.

Look what I got in the mail

Why did you buy a cheap rubber strap?
Hahaha, I did the same thing with my first Breitling, It was a similar rubber band with the same deployant.
Then I bought the original, and I will never use that cheap strap again.
I know that it is expensive, but believe me it makes you feel different with the original strap.

This is a really nice rubber strap. Real thick. I will try to get some pictures when I get better light.

The B1 is real chunky and need getting used to. The crown hit the car door when I was trying to put the the handle. Never happened before with other slimmer watches I have.
