I tried some when I bought my Shures and definitely feel that they offered a great sound at that price point. I'm not sure about the whole Dr. Dre thing, but then I'm an old fogey

Nixon 8mm gunmetal... for 40 bucks you can't beat the quality...

If there's a Barney's or COOP store near you they're readily available~ :D

As I'm typing this, now I noticed it said "headphones" not "earphones"...

Don't know much about their headphones but I can vouch their earbuds...

I really like the Beats by Dre and they sounded great but they fall out a lot when I'm working out, the earbuds that is, because the wire is kinda stuff so if I move my head to the left or right it pushes them out. I got the Beats Jamz because of that and they're the best headphones I've ever used. The sound quality is outstanding and the base is just great. Perfect if you're looking for earbuds, I'm not into the big ones that go over your ears so I don't know much about them.

I have a set of beats by dre. I love them. I can't imagine flying without them. I would go with the studios for just listening .http://beatsbydre.com/products/Products.aspx?pid=B3808&cat=1

I also use the Solo model for work. Great for an iphone or droid

You made a great decision. The Beats are awesome. I had Bose until about a year ago when my brother came home with a pair of Beats Studios. They absolutely blew away my Bose. I now take the Beats headphones with me every time I fly.
