Got to 42.1 degrees celcius here (Newcastle, Australia) today; that's 108 in F'heit. Too hot to even wear a watch. Tonight will be unbearable! Thank God for AC.

Not fun at all! But I'd take your weather (with AC) over mine - 18 f this morning, with 18 inches of snow on the way.

Just make sure you do not visit Phoenix in August. 108 is tepid.

Try some Breitling rubber, it's unbeatable.

But I'd change my weather with yours anytime. Now it's been the 9th day we haven't seen the sun. No snow thank God (it's too cold for that) but low fog with that wind called "bise" that makes the cold feeling 10 degrees below what it actually is.

I can vouch for that... and I don't even live in the state...

I'd take that dry Arizona heat over humidity any day of the week.

Downtown Kansas City - From our loft windows (13th story) - Visibility about 3 blocks, less at street level not looking thru a window. This sucks.

Another hot and humid one in Sydney today. kstone is right, it's the humidity that gets you, plus the sun down here has some real bite in it.

I'm doing my best to stick to my post-Christmas exercise regime so in the last 3 days I think I have sweated out half my body weight. Still, I vastly prefer it to cold weather. :D

Hope you guys Down Under are not affected by Yasi. You sure did not need that after the floods :(

What are the winters like there? I'm normally good with the heat, but that is bad. We have had 15 inches of snow and sleet with a temp of 4 below last night and a wind chill of 30 below. Looking for anywhere warmer.

It's my home state that is getting beaten up by nature, but I'm living over 1000 miles away at the moment. Hot and very sunny every day here this week.

Might have been a few forum members from Brisbane affected by the floods, but as for Yasi I'm not sure if we have any members here from FNQ?
