Since Sergio has a penchant for starting forum wide threads (5 favorite TV shows etc...) and started a collection pic thread today, I challenge you all to get something out there today. So with my limited camera skills here is the reduced collection – 12 pieces, the lowest it’s been since I bought my 12th watch. LOL. But it works for me!

THE DARK DIALS

THE LIGHT DIALS

THE YELLOW DIAL BEAST (if you haven’t sprung $650 for this watch, WTF are you waiting for? Still the best/most comfortable bracelet I have)

JUST SHOWING OFF!!

OK, I've shown you mine, show me YOURS.

This is my current collection - wife's watches included.
After buying my holy grail piece - Patek 5107 - the collection has been a bit thin.
Just added an Omega Speedie to the box! Hoping to add a Navitimer soon!

Steve,

I like the SOII very much. I was quite surprised I liked it when I saw it. Hadn't ecpected that at all. I got it on the DPII and Pro II and to my surprise, prefer it on the bracelet! Currently the bracelet is on the SOC (pictured), but I have another 20mm ProII on order.

I had noticed it in your signature for sometime but did not know what to think really.

After this post though, it seems clear, have you parted with your Fishies Tom?

That surprises me, you were so fond of them :!:

@Montexn - nice collection. That DLCed Corum looks like it's trying to hide. I tried one on a couple weeks ago and it is really nice, comfortable, and lighter weight than I expected. Reasonably priced as well. And what model Master Compressor Alram is that on a bracelet. I should be getting the bracelet any day for the Master Comressor Chrono - how do you like it?? I'm told it has a pretty cool micro adjustment system.

@Tomcat - I love everything about the Fish.....except the size. I had to "accept" that 44mm (+50mm lug end to lug end) and thick wasn't right on my small wrist. But no doubt, the Fishies remain IMO the best bang for the buck Breitling. So a wealth of pieces are off the radar, but on the other hand there are a bunch of very nice watches in the 39-42 range that have come into play for the future. Expensive learning curve but I know AT LEAST one other member here went through the same process (I won't "out him"). Funny thing, after a while they cease looking small.

Nice watches and pics. I've seen that first picture before and as cool as it is, it creeps me out!!! I feel the urge to rush to the kitchen and get the BBQ tongs.

Why do you like the yellow CD? It seems very big & clunky vs. your new strategy of smaller is better for your wrist size, which is exactly the same as mine.

When do you usually choose to wear it?

I wear if infrequently, usually if I don't care what might happen to it!!! It is big and it is chunky, but it is nicely enough done that it makes no sense to sell it to acquire maybe $400. Plus it has a flat caseback - that helps (same deal with the Skyracer - rather flat caseback by Bretiling standards.)

It has a great bracelet with a very well done quick extension on the clasp. And unlike most of the inexpensive Indies, it has a unique case rather than most of the rest that use "catalogue" cases. And it keeps amazingly good time. Have to have one watch you can put on where if everything goes wrong, it's not the end of the world!

Some great pics on here. I'm definitely envious of some of these collections. I don't have a group shot but here's my two.

Sharky, I love the Sub by the way but that SOII looks a bit out of place.
