Fair point Nick. However, when it came to the white dial M-1, the subs were silver which could have a "white" look to them in a certain light. As I said, where are the subs? If there is a better still pic of him wearing the watch, the position of the subs will confirm whether it's a CA or CA M-1.

I'm sure it's an Auto, in some footage the number 3 isn't as visible as the other numbers which suggests that's where the date window is. Hard to tell for definate.
