Those are some great pics, from the both of you. I've always liked the B1, what do you guys think of the turbine case back? It looks cool, but does it bother you while you're wearing it? What the WR by the way?

Love the turbine case back and no, it doesn't bother me at all while wearing it. You can see in the caseback pic the WR rating is 50M for the B-1 and 100M for the UTC module.
Best,
Ron

Hi, Don. Thanks for the compliment. If there is a particular shot you like for a PC wallpaper, PM or email your screen resolution to me and I'll make one that size for you from the original full size shot if I still have it. (I have been keeping the originals the last couple of years for that very reason.)
Best,
Ron

Thanks for the offer Ron, I've been doing the same thing as Don and keep changing but if you have the perfect fit...

Quite often I do. :) Shoot me a note and let me know your screen res and a pic or two you like and I'll be happy to make it the correct size if I have the original. The secret lies in doing the "resizing" via a "lossless" compression algorithm which allows the retention of sharp clarity.
Best,
Ron

Hi, LPB. The B-1 is the only Breitling chronograph I own which is a non-mechanical (Thermocompensated "SuperQuartz") piece and it remains my favorite wristwatch. The accuracy, functionality and usefullness of the B-1 is simply amazing. Further, it seems to have a perfect blend of casual, sport, tool or dress appearance and works great for any occasion in my experience. The B-1 has always received the vast majority of wrist time and in my opinion that is for very good reason. I am going outside to grill a couple of chicken breasts in a few minutes and of course the countdown bezel on the b-1 will be utilized once again.... :? :)
Best,
Ron
