This time last week on Friday I was skipping out of work early to buy my SteelFish. Actually I was probably rolling up into the AD's parking lot about now. So in just under a week I have learned a lot from you guys and bought a band from a forum member, thanks Mike!

My, watch photography skills have improved slightly. So whadda-ya-all think of my new look?

Date must be working becaue my sales slips says 1/14 and today the watch reads lucky 21. Thanks so much for all the great info.

I had the bracelet sized too small, and I don't want to fight the traffic back out there to have a link put back in. So this is going to be in place for a while. Next I think brown Croco and deployment. How do you all think that will look?

It'll probably look pretty good. I think a blue dial and a borwn strap go well together. I'm pretty sure Sharkman had that combo also. Congrats on the Fish by the way, great watch.

I always like the gold strap with blue dials, and obviously the Fish can do no wrong around these parts.

It is amazing how quick you learn when you jump in, and hang around for a while. Although an expensive hobby, WIS sure can be fun, and that is no more true that first watch.

Enjoy :lingsrock:

The blue looks great. Good people here, the strap is a sharp addition. Hope you have many years of enjoyment. Try to post more photo's when you can.
Best health, Frank

For better comfort I would suggest you try the Ocean Racer on deployant strap, it exists in matching blue color like your dial.

Glad you are enjoying the Steelfish...it's a great first Breitling!! I have not seen the blue dial on brown croco, but I do know someone who has it on brown calf, and I think it looks even better than the black.

Tomcat, Saw it at the store and was not crazy about the holes or the blue in the ORacer. Just too much blue for me. I am leaning toward a black Diver Pro II rubber on deployant. That was part of my reason to pick up the black leather to see how the black/blue combo looked at sort of a throw away price if I did not like it over time.

John, agree that lighter brow on the blue dial is hard to beat. I have seen two shades of croco and think the lighter would make for a classy look in this Fish. Also been poking around some of the high end, aftermarket band places on line. Some interesting things out there. I think I could quickly double what I have spent on the fish for bands/straps alone.

I chose the OR with the holes because IMO they kinda remind of the dial and the round digits.
