Nice photos Pete, both of that special watch and of your street, similar to what we saw in the Chelsea district in NYC.

I need to arrange to get mine back to Breitling UK today so they can get it sorted.

Good luck with that. Hope it's a quick turn around.

I hope so too Pete. I'm still really hacked off about it, especially with the double whammy of my vintage Navitimer being retuned from it's £1,100 overhaul with a fault too!

Straight out of the box the chrono doesn't work properly, when you start it the minute hand intermittently jumps between the 1 and 2 minute position and also the large chrono red second hand has a chunk missing out of it or something stuck to it.

Not a good sign for quality control!

WOW that is really terrible news. I am shocked by that. I hope it all works out for you. I hope that is just an isolated incident.

Looking for one right now and will be selling my "regular" navi (and probably another watch or two from my collection) to afford this!

But, dang, it's pretty!

Would want to get it from an AD, not 2nd hand or otherwise, given the newness of the B01 movement.

Anyone know if these are still generally available in the US?

I'm located in Atlanta, GA

Tom

Thanks to those who replied with suggested ADs. My Navi LE 01 should be showing up by FedEx this morning

Got it and it's on my wrist as I type :)

I am #1256 of 2000

Interestingly, the date is in black font, not red as shown in the press photos. Anyone else seen this?

I'd check out the date font under some different lighting. The font is definitely is not bright red, but more of a burgundy. Under a lot of lighting conditions, it appears black. However, I highly doubt yours is different from any other Navi 01.

I really want a Navi 01, which I always forget about until someone posts something new here and I wind up looking at them all again.

I hate this thread. :(

You don't want one; you'll hate it.

Thanks, I feel much better now. Time to go look at all those PAM pics, I'm a glutton for punishment

It does look black. I was a bit disappointed. I was hoping it looked more like the press photos. If I had to choose between the black and this "almost" black I'd choose the black. Besides that it a beautiful watch.

Tom, since you have both side by side, how do you thing the new one compares to the old one?

Strangely, when worn, it 'feels' identical to my (now sold) A23322

The differences are subtle. I personally like that it has the in-house, column-wheel movement with a 70+ hour reserve. I also personally like the display back. The size difference is essentially nil. It is still a hybrid size between the Paneria-inspired 'wear a clock on your wrist to be a true man' style and the 'never above 40mm' old guard. I liked the size of the old one and I equally like the size of this one.

Worth the almost ~$4,000 extra outlay to get this (including credit for the sale of the A23322)? I'm on the fence on that one!

Tom

1405/2000 here. Just picked it up from my local AD. Ordered the steel bracelet for it as well (for those hot summers).

My wrist is not that wide so the 46mm World is a bit too big for me. I thus decided on the B635 and walked in to purchase but when i saw the B01 in person and tried it on, it was just too perfect. The B635 is just a pinch small for me and i thought it was something i could live with but the size of the B01 is just a perfect fit.

I am just loving it in every way.

My AD still has 1 Navi B01 left as well as a Chronomat B01.
