In actual fact there's probably a real 6.75 under all that hideous bling rubbish. Rest assured that most of it is aftermarket work, although god knows why they bothered. It takes a real special effort to ruin a genuine watch so spectacularly!

I think it's real. Date wheel is all we can go by as everything else is aftermarket, but it looks Ok to me.

Well I guess the diamonds alone could be valued at more than $3500.00 if indeed they are real and not zirc. If he has the original bezel and the original authentic paperwork then yes it would be worth that.

Ugh...I find this discussion to be antithetical to what this forum is about, or at least why I come to this forum. We've just aided and abetted more bling whoring.

Considering 100% of your posts are in this thread, and your interest here is solely in flipping a POS iced Ling, I stand by my comment. All we've done is help you in that endeavor, which is something I don't personally feel good about. If you hang around a bit and show you have an interest in the brand beyond its basest manifestation, I might change my mind.

One of the most important things (in my opinion) that this site stands for is respect for people with different opinions. That seems to have been lost in the last week or so.

The watch is a modified real Breitling, not a fake. Personally I think it's hideous, but other people don't like some of the watches I own (one member, without realising it, called a watch that I own "creepy" earlier this week), it doesn't give me a right to pass judgement

Hundreds of people join here every year to ask one question and then move on - that's OK, not everyone is a WIS.

I think that we all need to be a little more tolerant of people with different opinions and tastes.

Well, Roff, I'm expressing my opinion. I'm just saying I personally don't like seeing this site used to aid in the flipping of an iced Ling. If others disagree with my sentiment, they're welcome to say so. If you disagree with my sentiment, by all means say so. Lecturing me about what I should say is taking it to a different level.
