I've had a few of these 1969 ref 2112 Chrono-matics over the years but don't ever remember seeing one with a beveled and brushed case as this one has. Seems like more of a contour around the case ends too. The case back, dial, and bracelet all appear fine. Just that case seems a little odd. Maybe a redo on an original case?

Yeah I think it's a recovered 'over restoration'. They've done a good job though!

Almost like a Heuer case.

I think it is a steel version of this 2112 case, but I'm surprised to see a 1969 serial date since I associate it with later in the 1970s. The hands, date wheel, and bracelet seem later 1970s, too.

Well spotted.

It certainly seems to have a bevelled edge in this catalogue. It's described as the "New Look"
