Hi, I recently purchased a Chronospace of ebay and received an extra ocean racer and diver pro strap with it. I'm not sure if they are real or not and would like some opinions please. Sorry if the photos aren't that great, if you need some more let me know what to take and I'll add them.

They look OK to me, but sometimes difficult to tell just by looking. Fold the straps over and if you see white on the outside of the curve then they are fake.

Theres no white on the rubber when folded over and they smell like vanilla which I've read is a good thing. I suppose I'm more concerned with the buckle on the ocean racer as I've never really seen many in the flesh to compare.

I think you may have it backward as ive always thought that the vanilla smell was a sign of a fake. I own a diver pro and a DPII and neither smells like vanilla to me, unfortunately, as I really like the smell of vanilla.

Some new photos, these are the best I can come up with. I'll try and go into my local AD to get their opinion tomorrow too.

I showed the AD but they weren't sure, they said the rubber felt fine but not sure about the buckle, they didn't really know so well though, maybe a different AD would be more helpful, either that or I send it in the Breitling to authenticate.

I think there may be a danger you will lose your strap if it does turn out to be genuine.
