Quick question.... your strap, is it Breitlings OEM and then you added the extra piece or is this all an after market strap? I like that look! :lingsrock:

Yes, it is indeed an OEM Breitling strap, 22-20mm width, model #435XL (135-90mm length vice the "regular" 120-80mm length of the 435X) sitting on a "Bund" pad borrowed from a KHS "Raptor" 22mm wide strap. My wrist is about 7 3/4" so I need the "L" strap when the extra thickness of the pad comes into play. I'm with you on the "Look" of this kit. Seems to add an extra touch of classic aviator/military presence to any of my Breitling chronographs. Undoubtedly my favorite "shoes" for winter wear on the B's...
Best,
Ron

Not that I'm aware... :? Jurgen's from Germany makes quality Bund straps but the loops in the pads look a bit different from the Raptor version. Try a google search and take a look on the 'Bay as well. If you strike out, let me know and I'll try to help you via PM.
Best,
Ron

Well, unless you had the brown pad and strap together for comparison and contrast it may be a risk to go ahead and purchase. That said, below are a few large pics of the KHS "Raptor" Bund pad in brown. The small grain croco is an OEM Breitling strap, pre-2003 vintage (22-18), the larger grain strap is just a cheapie off the 'Bay. Hopefully you'll be able to gain a fair assessment of the brown color. Certainly another manufacturor's brown may be different. Hope this helps...
Best,
Ron

I honestly THINK that the KHS "Raptor" Bund pad matches perfectly compared the the Jurgen* one. Theirs is way to light and the guy was teling me to either get a "custom" one for $100 bucks of buy the regular lighter one for $50 and use oil to make it darker.

Where do you think I can pick a KHS "Raptor" Bund pad up?

I think Breitling should start focusing some more attention the cool strap and accessories (like the one shown above) rather then making some watches that a 5 year old with a box of crayons can can design. JMO
