I tried on a SR and liked it so much on the wrist that I probably would have bought it if it wasn't for the price, which IMO is a bit steep for what you're getting.

It is a little expensive when compared with breitlings housing the cal.13 but don't forget it's the most legible mechanical chronograph on the market today.Bicompax with two chrono minute totalizers, this is even better than Lemania 5100(and i do own a tutima NATO chronograph)
The dial details are exceptional too!

Raven good. Rubber bezel good. Naysayers bad.

All true, and it's definitely not a run-of-the-mill chrono design. However, at this price point it's going up against in-house offerings from Rolex and IWC, to name a couple that come to mind. Granted, they're not chronos, but still... List price over here for the SR is almost 8k, incidentally.

I do still like it very much, and if offered a good deal on one I might crack. Your pics are great, by the way.

"Don't forget you can switch the bezel anytime with the all steel one in the future..."
Is that right?, I didn't know you could do that...wonder what the cost of the bezel switch might be?

Nice pics!

Yes I believe so, I have asked regional Breitling AD, they said to bring my SRR for them to change the bezel. They can't send directly the bezel to me. I think it is just to avoid putting original bezel onto the fake breitlings.

Thanks,Mark.
My AD assured me that the bezel and the pusers are interchangeable parts between the Raven and the standard model.
I didn't asked the price,though...

I've got the pre-Raven Skyracer.

I woudn't have the Raven. Not a fan of the rubber. Super-happy with the look as was (sorry about the average photo). Like the balanced two-subdial style.

A SOH 125th would be damn nice too.....

Cheers!

I love mine! The rubberized bezel is more scratch resistant than the standard steel version and suits nice the professional character of the watch. It's a real breitling tool watch, reminds me the styling of the older Sinn 156 military chronos or even the heuer's bund....
Don't forget you can switch the bezel anytime with the all steel one in the future...

:yeahthat
