to many blacks around, but few blacks like the SA dial

the white SA doesnt capture much attention, its all white,boring and doesnt even look like a breitling, just if you look closer, the only few white breitlings i would consider is the EM 2 gen dial, a white chronomat whit brown croco,the bentley 6.75 and of course the mulliner tourb.

the super avenger is the one of the sportiest watches breilting has and so a black dial look much better, the rest is just music

I read on another forum that in some of the Asian cultures, the white dials are considered unlucky and therefor less desirable. Doubt that same philosophy has any bearing on the Western cultures, but I think both look good depending on how one accessorizes.

In the end it doesn't matter which one gets noticed more as opposed to which one YOU like the best.

I wouldn't want my watch to get noticed every hour as I would be very hesistant and worried about what kind of places I go with it on.

As far as why black gets noticed more over the white is probably because white is a more subdued/soft color while black has a bit more pop and masculinity to it (masculinity is definitely the SA's strong suit). Compare a just washed, clay barred, polished, and waxed black car with the exact same version in white next to it. I bet 9/10 people will be staring at the black.

I THINK THAT THE CONTRAST IS THE ONE THAT METTER.
IF THEY WILL COME WITH A WHITE DIAL AND BLACK SUB CHRONOS IT WILL SELL MORE THAN THE BLACK AND WHITE CHRONOS.
THE CONTRAST ON THE DIAL MAKES THE DIAL POP OUT.AND WHEN ITS WHITE ON WHITE OR CREAM ON WHITE ITS JUST LOOKS LIKE A BIG ROUNDED WHITE WATCH AND THE DESIGN IS UN NOTICED.

I dont have a black SA or a white SA i have the sophisticated SA 563... .......oh yea!!
Air Force blue dial with white subs, encased in glistening stainless steel, sat on a Pro11 bracelet..........try not getting noticed with one of those on........especially if it fits on the wrist and doesn't overhang........looks even better with a matching coloured car ....
old dudes like me need some equipment these days.....
