This, along with the Airwolf Raven really seem to devide opinion due to the rubber accents used on them. Been discussed a few times on here

Love the look of the Skyracer, but not keen on the fact the bezel is rubber. If it was black cermaic, that would be a different matter 8)

My honest thought is that it is one ugly-ass watch that I could never see wanting to spend that kind of money on. But some people dig it. To each his own.

Agree, and that's why Breitling makes so many different styles of watches. We're all different in our tastes.
For me, I love it.
I want one today.
Now - this very minute.
I can taste it.
Excuse me.....
I'm drooling.

there is something about this watch...
its not very popular even that is one of the more quality watches breitling made.
it is sexy as well and you can wear it with jeans or with anything else...
i guess its the price that make people go for other models in this price range.

I'm definitely in the "hate the rubber bezel" camp. I think it cheapens the look of an otherwise fantastic looking watch. (Same goes for the Airwolf Raven). But, as said above, each to their own.

I believe the model has been discontinued, so that tells me its not a seller. I also think the model was overpriced which is why it didn't sell very well.

People weren't willing to pay extra for the more complicated movement it seems. I owned a SR Raven and quite enjoyed it. THe silver dial SK on a pro II remains one of my very favorite watches. And I still own it! What are the odds?

That's what I'm talking about! A Breitling with a ceramic bezel. :) Maybe someday...

I kinda like the Raven models, but not enough to buy one yet. To each his own.

Regular Skyracer is discontinued, Raven is still available I believe.

There was a time when I was looking to purchase the Skyracer raven , but the couple AD's I spoke with weren't budging much from the price. I am so glad I didn't buy one. there is on FLEBAY now for 2700 opening bid 2900 BIN.

I love mine! The rubberized bezel is more scratch resistant than the standard steel version and suits nice the professional character of the watch. It's a real breitling tool watch, reminds me the styling of the older Sinn 156 military chronos or even the heuer's bund....
Don't forget you can switch the bezel anytime with the all steel one in the future...

I absolutely love mine! The rubber bezel tones down the "bling". I'm in the military and this watch is great for everyday use. I bought the Pro Diver II strap to have for every day use and swap it out with the Pilot for when I need to dress up.

I'm a Raven fan, both the Airwolf and the Skyracer. I tried on a SR and liked it so much on the wrist that I probably would have bought it if it wasn't for the price, which IMO is a bit steep for what you're getting.

I know I'm in the minority here, but the rubber bezel doesn't bother me at all.
