I have in the past sold things which I got for nothing so I cant really complain too much, but is it just me or does everyone else get annoyed with people selling items they were sent for free and not just covering post charges, Im not pointing out anyones sales posts as thats not fair but whats your feelings on this matter?

Won't really bother me..
I would presume that if it was received from Breitling as a gift that it would already have been well payed for...

Enjoy the holidays...

No, it's just you.

Though I did let a guy have one of my copies of The Book for shipping only and the sole response I got was, "The cover is pretty cheaply made!" Oh, you ARE welcome.

See, I don't consider swag "free" by any means. Hey, you have to spend a fair bit of $$ to get a friggin' hat. Don't even get me started on the pink boxer shorts. Nothing BUSA has sent me was "free." Except, that is, when Marie sends me my lanyard and ancillaries for RENO! :cheer:

Most things annoy me, but this really isn't one of them.

If I got pink boxers I'd probably sell them, I actually might pay someone to take them now that I think of it.

Ive got to agree with the replies. Breitling has sent me some swag over the years, but by no means do I consider it to be free. In fact, id go so far as to say that its pretty damn expensive. These items are not for sale by Breitling, so the only way to get them is to buy an expensive watch from an AD, or to buy it from somebody else who has bought an expensive watch from an AD.

Of course, this post assumes that we're talking about Breitling swag...and im not entirely sure if we are or not

I get more annoyed by people selling something used for the same price it can be purchased new, and then to act like its so rare or hard to get.

Agreed. Let see... this year I purchased the following through George at Govbergs...

- Chronomat Evolution SS
- Chronomat Evolution Gold and SS(brother's gift)
- Movado(employee gift)
- Michelle Watch(gf)
- and Navi World(coming in a month)

Somewhere in the ballpark of $18k...

I THINK I deserved my "FREE" Breitling Backpack and if I want to sell it, dammit I will sell it!

The first Breitling I bought was the Colt auto. BUSA sent my the Ball cap and I think I wore it three or four times. I wear my own company hat for work. I had a person come up to me and ask where I got the hat and could he get one. I told him, in as straight a face as I could muster, the hat cost about $2,300.00 but they throw in a really nice watch. It took him about five seconds to catch on, grumbled something and walked away. I thought it was funny. :D It doesn't bother me if someone wants to resell something, like re-gifting I guess. If someone wants to pay the price that is their business. Actually I have this extremely rare Seiko gold tone quartz I bought at Bj's. :uplaugh:
Best health, Frank

I sold my Breitling hat for 20$ on ebay , I wouldn't of sold it had Breitling made a fitted hat, the hats they send are meant for people with a small head.

I think that's absolutely hilarious. Clearly, the guy had no sense of humour!
