I bid on a vintage Breitling on ebay before I did my research. I know very stupid. Can anyone Confirm this is a fake. It is listed as a Breitling Submariner SS case w black face. The ebay item # is 110624797001. Im 99% sure its a refurb and reengraving or some sort of frankenstein watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve

The caseback reads Breitling Automatic Calendar 20 ATMOS 265 04
inside the caseback Breitling Watch Ltd Swiss 1001965
It has a ss case w a black face that reads Breitling Geneve Automatic Submariner

The cardinal rule here santini is that WE NEVER BUY WATCHES FROM SOUTH AMERICA... :D 99% of them are frankenwatches and wishful fabrications... and anytime you're in doubt, you are more than welcome to post and many people here willing to help you... good luck with your search! and welcome to the boards!
