I understand that this has already been discussed in regards to listing your age. However, I thought it would be cool show an actual chart for people who own one or multiple Breitlings under the age demographics. I would imagine the younger crowd would take the cake but if alot of people participate in this, I thought it would be cool to see how many age fluctuations there may be. :lingsrock:

I'll start...

Bless you for making those categories so broad. Every time I have to check the 25-34 box, I think part of my soul dies. :P

here is the thing though, forums, like this are MUCH more popular for the under 40 crowd, this poll will show the demographic here, but it will be drastically skewed compared to the real ownership numbers.

Very true. I figured it would be worth a shot though. Like I previously said! I know there was an age thread already but seeing it all in chart form might be more interesting

:yeahthat
I also think (just a hunch) that there is a younger demographic here than on some other forums, the TZ Breitling forum for example.

Anyhow, 34 in my case.

I thought I would mention the 22-30 is a little off IMO. Of course this is an age old debate, how to separate demographic groups. But consider the information you are trying to gleam when you create these groups. Are you more interested in Psychographics (IAO variables)? If so...

It should be something closer to 18-24/25 which commonly represents post secondary students and newly employed young adults.

Then a 25/26-29/32 which represents commonly newly married, young professionals, S.I.N.K.s, D.I.N.K.s, O.R.C.H.I.D.s, S.I.O.K.s etc.

30/32-39 is commonly young families, S.I.N.K.S, D.I.N.K.S, sometimes O.R.C.H.I.D.s & S.I.O.K.s as well but also includes a higher percentage of individuals/couples/families that have higher income, are more stable in their career, higher % of home owners, different vehicles profiles etc.

22-30 is a bad grouping IMHO is all I am saying. On occasion you will see more encompassing age categories like 25-34 but that generally is intended to encompass young adults/graduates or those in post graduate study up through young adults when specific variables that are obviously fluctuating in that group etc are irrelevant due to the factors considered for those demographic purposes.

Also generally speaking one should consider generational cohorts for these groups as well but I am not sure what you are trying to figure out exactly.

What are you trying to learn about the age structure, median?

For the record, 30.

Wow, surprised to see so many young guys. I'm jealous because I could never afford nice watches at that age.

For the record, 47. 8)

S.I.O.K. would be single income one kid, I'm guessing.

O.R.C.H.I.D. has me stumped though. I could be one and not even know it!
