Good Day BreitlingSource

I'm hoping you guys can help me out here. I have my heart set on the 6.75 and I'm planning on purchasing one from a AD this week. However, I'm not quite sure if I should get the 2009 version or the 2010+ version. From my readings on the boards, the stand out differences are just the chrome edging around the subdials, the swap of the 3 and 9 o clock subdials, and a slightly wider bezel.

Are there other differences between the 2 watches? If you had a chance to choose one or the other, which one would you choose and why?

Thanks,
Mike

Old one. The new bezel really stands out as too thick and blingy. It's a distraction from the dial -- at least in pictures.

Now the new Motors T is pretty nice. They left the bezel the same size but gave the dial some nice new touches such as the rings around the subdials and a lot more red numbering instead of white.

thanks guys. it just seems that the 2009 face looks larger because of the smaller bezel. Guess if i can get the 09 at a better discount, i'll go that rought. if its the same deal, i'll probably order the 2010 version just because its more recent.

:yeahthat I'm not a fan the new thicker bezel on the newer models. The older models are just a bit more classy IMO.

I guess im in the minority since I like the new version better. My favorite would have to be the Supersports though. That thing is waaaaaaaay nicer than the 6.75. I think it retails for about $9500, but I could be wrong.

PROBLEM WITH THE SUPER SPORTS COMPARED TO THE 675 IS THE DATE, THE 675 DOUBLE DATE KICKS ASS, PLUS THE BEST CASEBACK OF A NON DISPLAY BACK EVER.

IF I WANT THE LITTLE DATE, I'LL TAKE THE GMT OVER THE SUPERSPORTS.

BUT THE SUPERSPORTS> MOTORS T ALL DAY

I really like the central chrono on the SS. I think its probably my favorite complication from breitling, and probably one of the few complications from anybody that can actually be put to good use.

Although it's hard to beat the satin/polished finish of the Motors T. Also the bezel is lower and sleeker in design. The knurled bezels are higher than the crystal where as the engined turned Motors T bezel is flush near the crystal and gets lower away from it. Overall it's not as blingy as the all polished Bentleys.

Here are some examples of what I mean.

Here's the same watch with a bezel off a 6.75. You can see it's much more blingy.

hey bud i hope this helps to answer your question regarding these 2 watches. basically the major difference is that the 6.75 speed has chrome around the subdials of the chrono and red accents around the tacheometer. as can be seen in this pic

Image

i really hope that helps you. the pic i posted is of a motors t speed. the 6.75 speed has the same chrome and red markings but a knurled bezel, big double date window and different back casing. let us know if you get the watch. and its kind of an unwritten rule here but its mandatory to post pics of your new watch  jk

No, the 6.75 doesn't have the 30 second chrono that the Motors T (and Motors) has.
