Hi I wanted to get some expert advise on whether or not I'm selling my watch for too little or too much. Here are the specs:

Breitling 6.75 for Bentley Copper Face. I have had it for 2 years, all paperwork boxes are included. I even have a recent appraisal from a jeweler certifying the value.

I have someone asking $4k for the watch, and or $4,500.

The watch is listed for $5,900. OBO. Not sure about any of this

I'm in sales, and I can't wear the watch b/c it's too flashy. I end up wearing something more suttle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

For price comparisons take a look at the completed listings on eBay - the green ones have actually sold, and at www.chrono24.com, although remember that those are dealer asking prices. You can also take a look at the Buy / Sell / Trade forum here to see what similar pieces sold for.

Thank you for the guidance, I wasn't sure where the best price would be. I have it listed on craiglist, do you know any other places to post to sell?

Thanks again.

...eBay, HERE, TZ (timezone), or other WATCH related sites. Craigslist is a horrible place to sell luxury watches. For the most part the only thing listed on craiglist are fakes and most people that are into watches associate craigslist with cheap knock off junk. You need to get your "ad" in front of the people who who potentially buy it. Just cover your rear and get the money before you ship the watch.
