For used prices look for comparables on completed eBay listings or at Chrono24, although those are dealer asking prices. For new the list prices are here (watch head) - http://www.breitlingsource.com/pricelis ... ection=ASC and here (bracelet / strap) - http://www.breitlingsource.com/pricelis ... ection=ASC

For discounts, it depends where you are, in the US plan for 20 - 25%.

I'm embarrassed to ask this, but is there a second page to the price list that includes the B for B's? I have looked and looked and I can't find them.

Thanks for that info.

It seems that gold watches cost much more than just the price difference in material. Does anyone know why?

I'm guessing 'because they can get away with it' is the #1 reason. I'm sure the official reason is something to do with exclusivity and difficulties of manufacturing a softer metal, though.

It's the same with all watch manufacturers. Part of it is the fact that they are generally limited, and the material is harder to work, but as anez says, bottom line is that they can charge that - price has little to do with value.

Thanks for the info! What's the odds of getting more than 25%, I feel like I heard a lot of 30% off?

Dealer costs went up in May, but retail prices didn't. As a result, dealer margins are squeezed and 30% is harder to get.

Contact jnelson3097 for contact details of Govberg who are a site sponsor or FEAR for contact details of Provident and see what they can do for you.

Thinking more and more about it, I can't offered a new 6.75 and breitling is my favorite brand. I feel I need a new ling to be my first. I'm going to buy a new SA in April.

Here is how i see it, my expensive ones, my gmt, and 675, i bought pre owned and saved at least 2k off of the best deal you are gonna get new, worth it.

my sa's, you can buy new in the mid 3's, and used is only a few hundred less, them its worth it to buy new.

list on 675 on bracelet, 8800, a good deal is like 6750 to 7k, used, 4800 ish. worth it.

Very true, which is why for my first I'll go with a SA to get the "New Breitling" Experience. Down the road I'll buy a used 6.75 or B01. Because If I learned one thing it's, watches are addicting and I'm sure Breitlings are even more so.

Also, the depreciation on the gold watches is generally huge.
