I love the look and style of the newer baton marker version with black dial but am concerned about the size.
Especially wrist shots on a smaller wrist if possible?
Mine are 6.6 - 6.8" and I'm worried it will look stupid on me!

Cheers,

Mac.

Just got mine from my AD last Saturday. The watch is amazing. I have smaller wrists and it does take up some room but it fits under my dress shirts nicely. I have included a couple of pictures: one with the black ocean racer deployment strap and another wrist shot with the SS band. I can say that this is a watch that you know you are always wearing. It is on the heavier side but my thought was if I am going to pay that much $$$ for a watch, I better know it is on. I have gotten several compliments on the watch already and does make a statement if you wear it with short sleeves. On the SS I can wear it with a suit and with the Ocean Racer strap it looks great with a t-shirt/casual wear.

This is my first Breitling purchase and could not be happier. I find myself staring at my watch radomly throughout the day. Hope these pics help. These were pictures taken from my phone but hope to take some better pictures when I have some extra time. I used an image resizer online so they are not the best. Thank you BS for providing me with the knowledge to negotiate and get a good deal on my piece!

If you're concerned with the size you may consider a Colt. Similar style, but 41mm. Not sure if the WR difference means much to you (3000 vs 500m).

Thanks so far!

The Colt has a polished case so is a no no for me.
I like a brushed or satin finish on a tool watch.
Otherwise the Colt is nice!

You are welcome. I can tell you that my AD didn't even carry any of the baton faces only the numerals. Once he saw this watch he said that the owner of the store wanted to keep the black face with batons on display because he thought it was such a good looking watch. You will not be dissapointed if you go with a seawolf. Let me know if you have any other questions or need anything else.

That's a good point. I've actually considered having mine brushed for the same reason. I just can't get myself to commit.

Post some before and after pics if you do. I'm sure it'd be a hit. There's a local AD that said he can get a finish that's nearly factory perfect.

Wish there was nearly any seconds hand but that ugly square one and I would be all over this bad boy. It's a beauty.

Wear it in good health!

You say you have smaller wrists? For the purposes of scaling and comparison what size are they?
Mine are between 6.6 - 6.8".
