The strap doesn't appear to have the width or length branded on the inside and the stitching on the loose keeper is the wrong way round.

The extra pusher above the crown is clearly not right, "Quartz" movement and the strap is definitely fake too.

I e-mailed the seller asking him if he was sure the movement is quartz. This is his reply: "to be honest i really don't know. Its whatever breitling usually is. its whatever you have to move the watch to keep it wound."

And yet, despite not knowing what the movement is, and having no box or papers, he's "sure" of the watch's authenticity.

Edit: LOL...he actually posted his answer. He's not doing himself any favors with discerning buyers, is he?

Shame no-one grabbed a picture of that one before it went. I'd have been interested in seeing it.

Driver, you didn't miss much. It was a fairly decent approximation of a Flying B, only with a little indented nodule just above the crown - not a big pusher like you might associate with a chronograph. Also, the strap looked quite cheesy.

Sorry, can't do it with Firefox.
Not so good fake with small pusher (like on watches with complications).

I should qualify my earlier statement by saying I am not very familiar with the Flying B. Looking at pictures on Breitling's site, the fake looked decent by comparison, in my opinion.

Pretty bad photo, if it was clear shot of the watch, you'd see that it's not so good (hands and a very small window).

Newbie question: how does that "dot" above the crown function as a pusher? It looks like it would be hard to push.

There's a special tool for it, or you can use a pencil.
It's for adjusting complications.
