Do you think Breitling would ever make a limited edition Navi World? Something with the Crystal back like the current Limited Edition in the Navitimer line.

I was just sitting here at work thinking

There is no reason not to have display backs on low W/R watches. I suspect we will start to see more and the World is a likely candidate as the Navi already is.

Personally, I'm not very impressed with their LE's, so I for one do not get excited when there is rumour of a Breitling LE.

I wonder if it would be too big of a case for a DB. At some point the movement starts looking too small.

Traditional approach is just to have a wide caseback before the sapphire starts. My 55mm Romain Jerome has a display back.

I personally couldn´t care less if a watch is an LE or not. If I like a watch I´m bying and it would be an LE, great. If it´s not an LE, just as good. But I have to say that the LE:s that B has done lately, Ive liked alot.

Like others have said, probably it´s just a matter of time that Breitling´s going to get to the World with something in those lines.

I've become a fan of the B01 movement recently and am excited to see new adaptations start to move into other pieces. Whether they do them in LEs or not, I don't know or really care, but it would be nice to get a few more DBs! I think the DB adds a nice bit of detail.

:yeahthat I hate to sound like a broken record, but the exclusivity of the LE - as far as Breitling is concerned - is long gone. If so many models are getting LE's now, I don't see anything special or exciting in this designation any more. When the Avenger Skyland Blacksteel - the first Breitling LE Blacksteel - was introduced a while back, I thought it was something new and exciting. Even then, at 2,000, it took quite a while for them all to get snapped up.
To me, the designation of LE, has become absolutely meaningless. Just a mundane addition to the model lineup.
Cheers,
Carl

recently purchased an aftermarket brown croc leather strap....jesus it looks so good on my white dial navi world.... more classic feel to it than my original black leather strap...
