Great pictures with the black strap .. my dial is bleu .. should i buy a black strap?

Any id about the costs?

I live in Geneva, Switzerland. I have the new Avenger 2010 model ( with "Swiss made" at 6 o'clock position) with all blue face. I recently got a brown calf leather strap ( intentionally got brown instead of blue) which makes the blue dial stand out more. The price is CHF 160, equivalent to USD 160. Blue dial + brown strap is a really good combo.

Speaking of straps.....I ordered my World Navi with a silver face with a Brown Croc strap. Afterwards seeing a"Gold" strap with the navi elsewhere I thought maybe the Gold would look better then the brown. I went back to my AD, a very cool guy and asked to change the order to Gold Croc but he said in the Croc they have only the brown shade. Any thoughts. Thanks, Rudy

They may only have the brown in stock, but they can order the gold. If that's what you want...don't settle.

Yeah keep in mind ADs keep little, if any, strap inventory. Always plan on ordering what you want. I've ordered a boat load of OEM straps and always the AD simply places an order with the brand rep. Never rely on AD strap inventory. My typical wait time is one week on most brands.

Thanks guys, another related question. On the Strap would you get the buckle or clasp? With the buckle I feel I might wear out the strap taking it on and off and those things are expensive in Croc as you know. With your experience which is the better choice, buckle or clasp? Thanks

Deployment clasp without a doubt. Not only does it reduce wear on the strap, it is much easier putting the watch on and taking it off. The strap contours to the wrist better too.

:yeahthat

Clasp also prevents the watch from spinning around your wrist.

+1. The deployment clasp will prolong the life of your strap, and unlike a tang buckle can be adjusted to an exact fit on your wrist. The cost is much more, but I feel that it is worth it.

I just ordered the black croc strap with deployment for my chronomat 01 LE. I know I made the right choice but it was pricey.

I love Breitling's Croco straps (and own a black one), but when I recently picked up my Navi 01 LE I left the AD with a black leather strap for it. The Navi looks better, IMO, with the smooth leather. I think strap preference is something that is a personal decision. For me the Croco just didn't look at good as the smooth calf leather on this particular watch.
