No, I'm saying that the fact that people can run red lights and have no repercussions from the police (as you stated) is not (in my opinion) a good thing.

Well Roff, here are two that did not get away with it and got what they deserved:

Hmm. I wonder what law they're using to justify the sale. I guess if the law already existed, then it's too bad, so sad for the car owners. But personally, I don't agree with the arbitrary taking of personal property, even as a punishment. Fine the folks, take their driver licenses, even put them in jail. And hey, if the woman with her children can make out a good tort claim (assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, etc.), let her sue the drivers too. But the cars belong to the drivers, and the government shouldn't just be able to take them, imo.

Extremely ambiguous worded law on street racing. Including single car street racing.

Totally agree with you Jackson, especially as here in Switzerland they are trying to do the same.

It is politically correct to consider drivers who don't abide by the speed limits as worse than common criminals (with jail time etc.) while at the same time commons criminals like drug dealers, murderers or rapists go free after months for the former and 3 or 4 years max for the latter.
