When servicing a watch that's not a chronometer,whithin how many secs per day do they regulate the watch? Can i ask them to do better?

They try to get it to complete accuracy, just like with a chronometer. It's not possible to get it exact, but if you aren't satisfied you can ask them to re-regulate it, but if it's only out 8 - 10 seconds you might not get much advantage.

It will also need to settle for a few weeks after servicing so I would wait before doing anything.

Fair enough, but if it isn't that doesn't automatically mean that you can send it back for Breitling to regulate it again - it's not a chronometer so COSC specs aren't guaranteed.

I know,it would be nice to get it back as close as possible. I'm sure it will be better than the +70 secs it was running lately!! :shock:

I didn't realize that Breitling will service an non-breitling brand.

He is referring to a pre-COSC Breitling. The full Breitling line has only been COSC certified since around 2000.

I'd say if you can get it from +70 to +/- 8-10, you're doing pretty well. :wink:
