Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on thew New Transocean B01? Been talking to a local AD here and they don't seem to be able to get one in unless I put down a deposit (50 % too). I'm still trying to make a decision but I think at $9500 AUD it would be worth taking a look at it in person first, or waiting till I hit Hong Kong and buying it from a AD there.

Oh and this is my first post, but have to say I just love the community here.

Personally I really like the look of it myself, but it seems a lot don't. So far I've not heard of any official release date, but either way, and like any watch, I'd recommend holding fire until you actually see one in person. I've seen watches that I've loved in pictures but hated in the flesh, and vice versa.

AD has advised me that the watch will be available from about Christmas...dunno how accurate that is though.

Although I do really what I have seen from the pictures, I would not feel right about it until I have actually seen it.

I do have a nice PDF with a collection of images of the Transocean, but I don't have the facility to upload them to the forum. I'll see about posting the images when I get home from work if anyone is interested.

I really like the Transocean as it looks like a more tame Navi. Seems like you get the best of the Navi line without all the fuss of a slide rule. I think this would make a great addition.




I have only seen a couple pics so if possible drop your PDF on here. Maybe you can change so people's mind about it
