:uplaugh: I got the Barry White vibe too. I know high-end watch lust is typically a male phenomenon, but I almost wonder if the video is intended for women, and he's really being more metaphorical, as though the woman should feel like she is the watch. "Just beautiful, amazing. This is what I bring to the table. This is how a Breitling gets done."

Could be-- maybe he's hoping to entice ladies to buy them for their husbands? "Buy him this and he'll be a better lover!" Personally, I think maybe he just likes watches a wee bit too much...

...Or just needs a girlfriend. Whichever. :D

(No offence to the gentleman in question if he should ever happen upon this.)

What, are you afraid he's going to come find you? I don't know about you, but he sounds like he could kick my ass.

I try not to be a dick on the internet... anymore. I'm 28 in a week, I can't get away with the things I used to! I'm sure you're right about the ass-kicking, too.

I would laugh so hard if said guy was 5'4 and a hundred pounds, though. We'll never know for sure!

I totally respect that, and I feel the same way. Having said that, I think a little good-natured ribbing of some bling artist on Youtube who talks about his macked out quartz Bentley being "the real deal" falls this side of dickish. I mean, if he's going to put himself out there like that, he's got to be able to take what comes back at him.

...You might have a point there.

And I just realised that I will have been on the internet for half my life at some point in the coming year. Gosh, I feel old. Well, hey, without spending alarming amounts of time online, I'd never have found sites like this, right? Right. :D

It's actually a testament to how young you are if you're at an age where it is even physically possible for you to have spent half your life on the Internet. I was only two years younger than you are going to be when I started going online in earnest, which means it won't be half my life until I'm 52.

By all means, correct me if I am wrong but how many Bentley Breitlings come with a quartz movement? Not many is what I am guessing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKvK_TmhrMY

I posted a comment on the video that it was fake. The owner removed the comment and blocked me from posting more. He also removed similar comments from others, which pretty much tells me he's a scam artist. It's too bad there isn't a way to report misleading videos like you can auctions on eBay. The more vendors try to use Youtube to sell their wares, the more Youtube is going to have to take consumer protection into account. I smell class-action lawsuit if this kind of crap keeps up.

By the way he was speaking and the look of the watch his actions of deleting the comments (the truth) are not surprising. Unfortunate for the folks out there that might not know a lot about watches and think he's legit. Hopefully, there's not that many of them.

I know the watch in that video was fake, but I was wondering if any Breitlings feature dead-beat seconds. Check out the seconds hand (and the minute hand) of the watch on the home page of the Breitling for Bentley site. Is that actually how a Bentley GMT moves? Or did the site designers just not bother to make the simulated hands sweep?

No Breitlings have dead beat seconds.

Thanks Roff, good to know. I didn't think so, but that simulated watch threw me, since the simulations on the standard B website all have sweeping hands.

goodnight and just remember its jewelry fellas. bling=vagin!

WTF Has BSource become?

Look, testosterone never replaces taste. And those chicks that you might bone over a diamond encrusted wigger watch are not the ones that you want to.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. One "vagin" comment from a member with 11 posts who hasn't so much as said a word here in over a month isn't indicative of the general tenor of this forum.
