Opened a second thread for another watch (Let me know if I should've kept it all on the same thread).

As stated in my first thread, I am in the market for a Navitimer and am deciding on one of two watches for sale (this is the second watch). Can you help identify authenticity?
This one may be a little more of a challenge (imho) as the pictures are not as clear as my first thread - I'm guessing the photographer used a flash on his/her camera.

Thanks again!

That one looks real too, but again check that the paperwork matches the watch.

Is it safe to say that only genuine watches come with the proper paperwork (warranty and COSC cert)?
Are serial numbers ever forged on the watches and/or paperwork themselves?

If you can fake a watch then you can fake paperwork. This paperwork is real, and if you get a full set including the perforated warranty booklet then you can be fairly safe, but COSC certs have definitely been faked to match a watch.

All replica (as opposed to cheap fakes) have the correct model number and a genuine looking serial number. On some replicas, the s/n is the same for every watch made but newer replicas have individual s/n.

Fake boxes and COSC certificates are easily obtainable but I have never seen (or even heard) of a fake Warranty Book. This is what you should always look for and check the s/n on the warranty matches that on the watch.

Best of luck with your search for the classic Breitling.
