Yeah I saw that a while ago. Without movement pics it's a gamble and the price is rather 'optimistic'.

IF and IF it is NOS... then 4250 wouldn't be too much of a stretch... still a bit much though...

if I was the seller I would've cracked the CB open too...

Here's a pic of my 2105 SuperOcean. I bought it a couple years ago NOS from Old World Jewelers. $4250 is pretty oprimistic IMO regarding the current e-bay offering mentioned previously.

He's been trying to sell that for years and doesn't come down a nickel on anything he sells.

O got an off-topic question here. How come the new Chronomatic, which looks very similar to this vintage one, is in the Navitimer line and not the Aeromarine line since it appears to be based off of this Superocean Chronomatic? Or am I way off base here?

You're way off base.

Chronomatic is the reference to the automatic chronograph that was introduced in 1969 and was predominantly Navitimer models, the SuperOcean is the anomaly.

Of course the concept of an Aeromarine line was 30 odd years in the future when these first appeared.

I figured I was way off, that's why I don't venture into the Vintage forum very often. Thanks.

Not to mention that its interesting to see some normal looking pieces get ripped to shreds by the experts.
