Christmas came a little early for me this year. I've been thinking of getting something different than my Milgauss and Colt and really wanted something with a white or silver dial. I also wanted it to be something very casual that I can throw on with a T shirt and jeans. I looked at a few options, ranging from the Steelfish up to the UN Maxi Marine Diver. In the end, I kept coming back to this one and it arrived at my desk this morning around 10:00 and it's been on my wrist ever since. I went with the rubber strap but will probably add the bracelet down the road.

The early review is that I really like it. Having never tried it on before buying it made me a little nervous, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger.

Thanks Mac, I wish I had some natural light to take some pics to really do the dial and bezel justice

Beautiful watch. I would love to have the white dial and rubber strap if it were only 2mm smaller. Congratulations on a great choice.

Perfect. Great choice.

As for the size at 45mm - it wears smaller with a fairly shallow case back and sharply sloped lugs. It wears about same size as the Skyracer which is 43mm. If it fits me - and it does very well - the size is right for 98% of potential buyers.

Justin, would you say it's one of the most comfortable watches you've worn? It's my "football game" watch - when I go to the game I don't have to worry about scratching the bezel when the crowd gets dicey.

Congrats, and I hope you enjoy. :)

Where did you buy from-- online sale or AD by phone? I can't imagine buying without trying...

In the 12 hours that I've owned, I'd say it's very comfortable on the rubber strap. I think this rubber strap is more comfortable than the rubber strap that came with my Panerai 112. If just fit exactly what I was looking for.

I bought from my usual AD and it was shipped overnight. I saw this watch in person a year or so ago but didn't try it on. If I didn't like it, I knew I could always return it.

Here are a few group shots.

Great pick up Justin. You have to add the steel bracelet down the road. It is very nicely done with a polished center and brushed outer links. The bracelet also does not taper from the lugs to the clasp, which also adds wrist presence. I think the metal bracelet also lets you wear this even in a more formal/dress type situation.

OH YEAH...The quick change system allows you to change between the rubber strap and metal bracelet in like 10 seconds.

Congrats on the early Christmas present... :santa:

Great looking watch, I love it. Is the strap a deploy or tang?
