Hi, can someone here please tell me if this strap look original?
It was suspicous from the start. I have touched some original straps before and this feels a bit hard, but maybe new straps are generally harder?
The height of the letters seems a litte lower, it's hard to see that on the pictures because of shadows, but the height are about half as much as it looks.
The Breitling wing is not exactly the same shape and height as on my Breitling watch, but maybe the wing does not look 100% exactly on every watch, straps and bracelets?
How should an authentic Breitling strap smell like? I'm not sure what this smells..

Hope to have some thoughts from you people:) thank you.

Some of these fakes are very good - one of the tests is to bend the strap in half - if you see white as the strap stretches then it's fake.

If it's fake it's a good one. It looks OK to me.

I have heard it mentioned, as Roff said, that bending the rubber on a fake will result in the white showing and I recall someone onces saying that a genuine one should smell like vanilla and a fake smells of rubber. I have one, and I don't recall a vanilla smell, but I also don't recall attempting to smell it either.

Bending a genuine strap should be easy. A fake is more stiff.

Thanks! Does it exist different versions of the Diver Pro 1? Except the sizes. I can see differences when looking at that strap on your pictures, especially on the back side

I bended it and it doesn't show any white. It smells kind of like vanilla and old food/potato basement hehe:? can't describe it any better.

Not sure. I know this one is about 2-3 years old. Although, never worn (what a shame).

As BR549 stated. If it's a fake, it's a good one... Yours looks pretty good to me. I would wear it with a smile....

Yep i know now that it's original after looking at a friends Breitling with the original Diver Pro 1 strap. It's just the same as mine and it really feels great on the arm:) I also understand that the Diver Pro 1 has been made with at least 2 different looks. The older design looks like the one you posted Troy. Some estetic changes+the old feels softer, maybe it's another material. Thanks guys!
