just got a avenger skywolf with the polished bracelet - its a little to tight but if i add the other link its too big and sags anything i can do? i noticed on the clasp there are a few other holes is it possible to add another link and then move the bracelet connection to one of those other holes or just deal with it being a little tight?

The small holes in the clasp are for small adjustments. It has a spring pin in it. Take a small pointed object and gently put some pressure on one side. Move the bracelet then in small increments and you should be able to find the correct size quite easily if the starting position was close to what you need. You may or may not need to add or remove links but once you get close, then using the fine adjustment should get you to where you need to be.

My pilot bracelet is also a bit tight, or lets say not as loose as I would like it - but very close. One more link is too much even when adjusting the fine tuning on the buckle. I wish more manufacturers would ensure any level of adjustment is possible by making the buckle fine tuning (ie number of holes) greater or at least the size of 1 more link.

There's no point in manufacturers making the small adjustment options the same size as a full link because in order to get a full link's size adjustment you just need to add or remove a link. The small adjustment on Breitling clasps is just one increment less than a full link anyway, so having more adjustment holes won't gain anything.

IMO Breitling's small adjustment options are as good as any in terms of being able to fine tune a metal bracelet which, by it's very nature, is very inflexible. For a REAL pain in terms of adjustment, you should try a Zenith or even an Omega SMP - half a link is the nearest you can get and there's ZERO small adjustment on those.

:yeahthat

Effectively you have the ability to adjust a Breitling bracelet to 1/5th of a link, which is pretty darn good.

For some reason if I add a full link and adjusting the hole of the clasp to that will yield the smallest result, the bracelet is too large by quite a bit - ie it flops down to the top of the hand. Taking out the link and adjusting the hole to yield the largest result makes it just a little snug but acceptable. Without wanting to hijack this thread (but I think it is related) - how tight does everyone wear their watch on the wrist? For example when you put it on does it fall down to the top of the hand or does it stay put?

The best adjustment Breitling has is on the Bentley models, which offers 1 small adjust , and 1 "micro" adjustment. It really is a "perfect" fit :lingsrock:
