1) B01 for sure because I own one myself
2) Blackbird blackeye blue

:yeahthat

Make it a TT B01 though with a leather or croco strap :)

As for the Blackbird, just try to visualize the unique bird it's named after

Thats easy . IF you have no need for chrono function, the cockpit big date, AKA galactic 41 is the sure winner.
It is overlooked by many, but is surely one of breitlings best pieces. very accurate; also..........

Finally a vote for one of the Galactics. I'm not too clear on the general dislike for them in this thread. Is the feeling the same for the older Cockpits, or is it just the Galactics with the Buck Rogers bezel? (I'll admit, the name strikes me as silly, especially when combined with the bezel font.) I usually don't have a need for a chrono function, although every now and again it comes in handy, and is generally kind of a cool thing to have. But one of my main considerations for the Galactic/Cockpit is my relatively small wrists - 6.5 inches on my left. The thick, broad chronos like the Chronomat look a bit bulky on me, even though I basically like them. Based on the pics I've seen, I actually like the dial of the Galactics better than the most recent Cockpits. That, combined with their more streamlined dimensions, warranted their their inclusion in my list.

AS much as I love my 'Bird, given the choice I would probably go with the new Chronomat 01 LE, classic watch, in-house movement, display caseback, what more can I say?

I'm a big fan of the Cockpits - not quite so much as toddb who has 80% of his posts saying how wonderful it is, but it's a very versatile watch. Not such a fan of the Galactics (stoopid name) because of the bezel which isn't to my liking, but the underlying watch is just the same.

I'll say what I always say in threads like this though - go try them on and see which one 'speaks' to you.

I'll head over to my AD one of these days, when I get out their way. Last time I checked, though, their selection was pretty limited...a few Chronomats, and little else. I'm sure they can order just about anything I want, but that does little good for simply browsing and trying things on. But of course I won't know what they've got if I don't check.
