First one's wrong... no such thing as "chronographe suisse" with Breitling at the bottom... if I recall, chronographe suisse (not to be confused or affiliated with the current Chronographe Suisse right now) was a no name brand that sold cheap souvenir watches to tourists during the 40's in Switzerland... The "B" and "Breitling" was added onto the dial. The bridge seems to look like something was scratched off and Breitling added too...

The second one seems to have to started life as a Breitling... 178 is a genuine ref. number and dial is consistent with a venus 170, but too bad someone chicken scratched the horribly done Breitling script on the caseback... the bridge seems to be a replacement too... it's a different color and the Breiting script on it doesn't look right either...

This is what your basic ref. 178 should look like:

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
Last question, regarding the bridge, it´s very similar to the pictures you posted but gold rather than silver as it should be.
Do you think that its a replacement? or is ther a chance it may have been built like that?

Thanks
Luciano

99% of the time the bridges are always the same color... the other 1% is for in case I could be wrong...

There can be finish differences between plates and bridges but I have never seen a legitimate movement where only one piece is a different plating.
