Sigh.
I know I'm not everyones cuppa (hence my deletion of my original account that was as close to a 'plank-owner' account as one could get...notice I came back less than a year later, but nevermind, that's a whole different story and the gentle-person I crossed swords with shows 'not their face, never more').

However, I was certain this humor would, in fact, translate.

Let me be blunt: Breitling does in fact pay attention to this site. I've first hand knowledge that they do. (yay, said the egotist, look at me, look at me....again, an attempt at dry humor...see, it ait funny if ya have to explain it)

Back to my own little world. They like me there....

i think you are not correct here..

Every time Google Ads slips in a replica site ad, Admin has to deal with guys in gray flannel suits. Bastard lawyers - every single one of them!

And now my open letter -

"Dearest, Dearest Marie,
Your company makes finer watches than any other. No one comes close. Nor ever will. While my personal collection dwindled to 5, it's rising with a bullet!! Take solice in the full novena I performed over the IWC episode. The lash marks on my back yet weep from the prurient Panerai proposition. I know I am a powerless slut. Forgive me my infidelities.

I will never, ever "wear" anything but Breitling again. And might now be propitious moment to add that the mental image of a woman wearing a diamond encrusted Flying B on pink croco is the second sexiest thing ever (throw in some pink “B” boxers and it's pure Nirvana)?

Sincerely and with deepest regrets for my sins,
Sharkman

P.S. See you in Reno next September?"

Just for the record......

Breitling monitors this site from a BUSA, BUK and B SA standpoint, but they are not allowed to post here - at least from an 'official' company presence standpoint.

jbbb is a bit of a weird one so forgive him his humour, he's well meaning, and mostly tame :poke:  (j/k jbbb - I know you have connections so I'll be on my best behaviour  )

Grigoros (aka Breitling Canada) happily continues to be completely oblivious of the customers that make their money

Nice post Driver. I totally agree with you. The recent LE models are OUTSTANDING and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's next.

I've pretty much had the same feelings as you towards the Chronomat B01, and like you, I have kind of warmed to it in recent months. I would actually quite happily wear the standard model... some really nice dial options, but I'd prefer a brushed finished.

Then the Chronomat 01 LE arrived! It's surprising how just a few changes make it seem like a different watch. The dial, the finish and of course the display back... Wow! Have you checked it out in person yet, Driver? It really is a fantastic piece and it feels absolutely great to wear. I've got one on hold too! I can't wait to pick it up!

So yeah, well done Breitling! The recent LE models are just excellent!

I also think the newest offerings are great. Its ironic that they are the models that we wanted from the beginning, isnt it?

Im looking forward to some Aeromarine 01's. An 01 Aeromarine Chrono model in the $5500 range would be nice to see, or a non-chrono steelfish-like diver at about $4000. Wishful thinking?

I would love to see the 01 movement in the SOSF. It would be a must have piece at that point IMO.

I don't know if Breitling monitors us, but I am also very glad things turned into the "right" direction. I've had so many issues with the new models that I turned into the past and bought a 2-year-old (but NOS) Chrono-Matic instead of picking a SO II or Chronomat B01. I really didn't understand why Breitling wouldn't introduce the B01 movement in the Navitimer range, but now they did, and they even went further than just introducing the Navi 01. Now I'm very excited about their upcoming releases, maybe we'll see a Blackbird 01 or a SuperOcean Heritage Chrono 01 soon? 8)

Now they only have to add the B01 (or 01) movement to the Chrono-Matic, shrink it back to a managable size (43-44mm), and they'd make me the happiest guy, ever! I know it's not going to happen, but heck, I wouldn't think I'd see anything interesting rolled out by Breitling before Basel 2011, and they proved me very wrong.

So I have to repeat the topic title: Thanks Breitling! :lingsrock:

IMHO, you guys are not patient enough. Breitling cannot put the B01 calibre in the whole range overnight. Just give'm time and enjoy what the future will bring.

Wouldn't be as catching if the whole range was immediately available in B01, now would it?

So, yeah, Thanks Breitling! :lingsrock:
