COSC specs - -4/+6 seconds per day.

If it can't maintain that then it may need servicing depending on how old it is. If it's brand new then it's still settling.

The authorized B service person is telling me 8 seconds, so after service if it does +/- 7 or 8 what should I tell him.
Hope it shows within COSC specs.

If it's outside COSC specs then tell him that it's outside COSC specs. He may say that it needs to settle after a service, and he would be correct, but within a few weeks it should be within specs. An official Breitling service person told you 8 seconds was OK???

I mentioned it is COSC and he mentioned 8 sec, when I asked if it can be set to run only few seconds faster, he stated that it can not be set exactly but it should be within specs after the service.
Currently it was running more than 40 sec slow, was told that no major servie is required just regular and he will replace the crown and backing gaskets as well.
I will wait and see after the service how accurate it will be.
