Hi there,

I have the Montbrillant Datora voor 2 weeks now and is had come directly from Breitling en has been made on 6/10. So it's brand new I guess. It's my first Breitling btw.
I've been looking at some small details. I think that my week and month position on the dial is not perfect. Especially the week position. I don't think that the glass is making it happen.
I am not a specialist in watches, but could this repair it self over time? I've been looking at a lot of photo's of the Datora, but I couldn´t find a dial with the same position problem.

Also a small detail is the ring wich does not perfectly match the stripes on the dial. The numbers 30 - 55 are not perfectly in place when I put the ring on the red 60 and 10. You can see that at the pictures I send. Last but not least, I'm wondering if also the date (red moon) indicator is not perfectly in position.

How should I look at this small details. Should a watch of this caliber be perfect in all small details?

Hope that someone can tell me more. I can go back to the retailer, but I wan´t to look on the internet first, because I`m afraid of asking stupid questions. :?

thanks

Circular slide rules never line up perfectly - that's not an issue.

In terms of the days and month, to me it looks OK, but if you aren't happy take it back to the AD to get their opinion.

My B-1 was spot on! Maybe it's the quartz technology!

I'm going back to my retailer and let them make a judgement. It's my first Breitling and I don't know what to expect. How accurate should this be? :?: Also de data indicator (red moon) is not perfectly in line I guess. Does anyone have more or less the same "problem"?

I've been to my retailer and he thinks I'm right. The dial could be the problem. They can refit it to fix the problem probably.
Hmm, have to wait for about 4 weeks and that is special fast service. I can understand, because it will go back to Switserland.
