Thank You all for Your very nice words.

I absolutely love this watch.

It ticks so many of my aspirational tick boxes. It's as if Breitling were reading my mind.

I've seen high end watches in the past that have took my breath away but they have been way beyond my pay check.

I feel incredibly lucky to own this gorgeous and utilitarian timepiece.

Simply stunning! Whats the MSRP?

The MSRP is just over £11K. The slide rule on my Chronomatic tells me that is about $18K.A lot of money but I managed to negotiate a deal with my AD for a decent discount and he took my Swordfish and SOHC LE off me as trade ins as well.

That is indeed stunning Ricardo. Shame you had to give up the Swordfish but it's for a very good reason. Congratulations!

Now THAT is the way to do a gold watch!

Most of the time I find gold Breitlings to be bordering on the gauche side of things, but that model (especially as it's on croco) looks absolutely superb. I always liked the "standard" SS LE version of that watch, and the gold version just takes it to a whole new level.

Love it!

All in good time my friend.

I have a review that I'm already working on. Give me about a week with the watch so I can be a little more subjective.

Indeed Tim. I did love the Swordfish and the SOHC LE that I "sacrificed" for this watch, but I do not regret it for a second.

In an ideal world (one where I've won the lottery) I would still have so many of the watches I have let go in the past, includiing both of these mentioned above.

Thank You Mr Driver.

Ironically, I toyed with the idea of buying the SS version of this watch when I bought my SOHC LE.

I simply love the 24H dial and the Chronomatic design.
