I think most eveyone does. I am in the distinct minority. And I maynbe rethinking the strap. The bracelet is impossible for me to get back on - the fit is so fine it's beyond me. Time to run tonthe AD tomorrow with my tail between my legs and have them put the bracelet on. I never thought I see the day. Grrrrr.

I tend to like closed end straps more, but I do like how the open ended (?) strap shows off the beautifully finished case. The only thing that I can see is that the straps seems a bit too...well, thin I guess compared to the case, but it probably looks quite a bit different in person as opposed to pics. Either way it's a sick watch, I can't believe how much my opinion has changed on this watch since I've seen good pictures of it instead of the crappy ones that Breguet has on their site.

It does seem like a shame that the coined edge is covered up, but I prefer the look of the closed end strap on the XXI.

Heres' the deal - I wanted both. But the closed end piece of the strap is clearly not intedended for frequent removal/replacing. The leather on the edges of the metal insert is thin, the fit is tight and precise, and you can easily damage it. Last night I discovered the bracelet end pieces are even a more precise fit, with fluting to mesh perfectly with the case fluting. I simply couldn't get it back in. Sooooo, for me it's going to be one look and my choice is the bracelet. Though most prefer the strap, I like the bracelet. It gives the appearance of a larger case and the bracelet itself is just beautiful. Couple that with it being the most comfortable one I've had - seals the deal. I can't see myself running to a pro every time I want to change out the bracelet/strap. If anything the fit of the end links into the lugs/case gave me a better appreciation for the fine fit and finish of Breguet.

Hmm.. You've had 3 Skyracers at the same time, why not 2 Breguets? Coming from you, not a single person here would raise an eyebrow

I also had 3 Steelfish and 3 Chrono Suproceans at the same time. It took a while, but I learned my lesson. Except the blueand white dial Fshies, no more duplicates.

But they are very different watches on steel and alligator. Hmm................
