This is not my watch, but it looks exactly like mine. Can anyone tell me:

1. Whether this Navitimer is real or not?
2. What year this Navitimer is?
3. Does anyone have the chronolog with this particular watch in it?

I found this picture on a german blog and the guy said it is real; just wanted to see if anyone else had an opinion. I have researched it and I think it is real, the only thing that bothers me is that the numbers are "squared off"...every other Navitimer I have found, including the Cosmonaut have "rounded" numbers.

I thought if I could just find the chronolog with this exact watch in it, there would be not doubt. I bought my watch used in a shop in Vienna, but it didn't come with papers. I might have saved some money or I may have just wasted it on a fake. I hope not! Either way, I think next time (if there is a next time) I would do better to wait until I can afford a new one because it is killing me not to know for sure if it is fake.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Welcome,

Well if it looks EXACTLY like that one, it will be real!

Please post some clear photos of the actual watch for a definitive assessment though.

O.K. I'd post a picture but I'm not sure how to get it on here, it looks like you can only link to a URL?
And, do you mean you think the watch in the picture I posted is real?

The watch in the pisture is real, if you want to attach a picture directly then you can do so with jpg files up to 250k using the upload attachment section immediately below the window where you type a post.

Thanks for the tip, I can't believe I missed that.
Anyway, this is my watch.

It's a real old Navitimer II from mid to late 90s.

I've checked my old catalogues and the squared off numbers seem to be used from 1993-1997. From Chronolog 1 (1997/98), the numbers are more rounded.
