bacardi I just purchased a Super Avenger too. I've got the same deal. I was under the impression that the noise and "wooble" were sporadic, but like you, it happens all the time. Seems like everytime I move my wrist I feel the vibration and it takes a second or so to wind down. I have to head back to my AD for another reason and I'm going to let him take a "hear".

I wonder why most people think there's a problem with valjoux when they feel the rotor vibration. Don't they know the automatics have a rotor?
I think it's beautiful, and the valjoux 7750 was my first automatic. When I bought the Hamilton with an ETA mov, I thought there was a problem cause I couldn't see (it's a Skeleton) spinning like my skyland with a vj7750.
That's why I love all VJ mov. 775x, It's ALIVE!

when you say rotor vibration??? I'm thinking ACTUAL VIBRATION. Is it actual vibration??? I dont think thats what you guys mean

There is nothing wrong with your watch, I promise!!!

The rotor spins on a central access and rotates all the way around the watch. The shifting weight distribution can cause the entire watch to 'wobble', the sound that you are hearing is the bearing and gears in the winding mechanism.

Hey roff, I think my watch is 15 seconds fast.

Winded up and cranked up on thursday last week. Today is tuesday.
I went by the time on http://www.time.gov, Set it to the exact time and second as the site.
Today, tuesday, its 15 seconds faster than the site. What do you think?

you think the site is wrong? or my watch? :?:

I think that your watch is fine.

Your watch is COSC certified - i.e. accurate to -4 / +6 seconds per day. 15 seconds between Thursday and Tuesday is 3 - 4 seconds per day - within COSC specs.

Additionally, your watch is new so will take a while to settle before accuracy improves.

REally??? So, in other words, as far as the time keeping is concerned, I guess it needs to be "broken in" to some extent?
Dont get me wrong, i totally trust the AD I got it from. Matter of fact, I'm gearing up to buy another piece of jewelry from him, its not ANY PROBLEM WITH HIM, I'm just questioning breitling themselves...thats all.

This has been discussed on here countless times, the watch can take 4 - 6 weeks to settle from new.

It is guaranteed with COSC specs, and yours is already within those specs.

I've heard about this with many different brands of high end automatic watches, not just Breitlings. It's kinda like a car, it's got to break in a bit before it runs perfectly.

Even taking out the break in period....your watch is already within the COSC specs. I would not worry about it too much, becasue as it is right now, your watch is within 99.9953% accuracy. Pretty impresive.

At this rate, your watch will be out of synch by 4 minutes every two months, at which pioint you will need to change the date anyways, so if you so desired you could adjust it then.

The woble has been discussed so obviously repeating what everyione has said multiple times is a bit fruitless.

Either way dont sweat it and just enjoy the watch

Dude its running 3 seconds fast a day for a chrono automatic, thats friggin amazing! If you wanted something to keep perfect time or close as possible you should have bought a quartz! If you ask me your watch is doing an amazing job of time keeping! :lingsrock:

bacardi, if roman and roff and others says it's ok, it's ok. They know a lot about watches, and specially breitlings.
I love so much the valjoux wobble, that I ended up buying 4 watches with that mov. 3 valjoux 7750, like the one you have and a valjoux 7752.
Enjoy your watch!
And I think that nobody is mad, we are here to help, teach and learn. So if you have more question or doubts, I hope we can help you.

Yeah, I know, trust me, there is thousands, and maybe millions of people that love these amazing time pieces. The difference between me and the thousands of people and you, roff, jnelson, and cali, is that we are NOT as educated as you guys, BUT, we wanna learn  .
By asking these questions, I hope I can help people on the forum the same way you, roff, jnelson, and the other guys have helped me.

Just know that you get our best answer the first time, you won't get a different answer the third time of asking

And the likelihood is that the common questions have been asked before so search can sometimes help.
