After buying my chronomat a few weeks ago I am now looking for a watch for my wife. She has never owned a watch, but likes the Galactic 36. I asked my AD if they could get me a Galactic 36 with pilot bracelet in a silver and one in a mother of pearl face. They say they cannot get watches from Breitling on approval anymore. What is the normal protocol when you would like a particular watch and cannot make up your mind unless you can compare them together.

Thank you

Really?

Wow, I've never seen that before, I guess that this must be a new BUK policy. Can you try a chain AD who may be able to have one sent from another store - that happens with the big chain here in Canada all the time as it's often easier than getting it from the distributor. Not sure what else to suggest if it's not practical for you to go to an AD with stock.

Good luck. Nice watch. I was looking at matching a Galactic 41 and 36 as a his/hers set this weeekend. Tried to configure them on breitling.com but I guess they are too new to have the options loaded on the site.

Thanks for that. I bit the bullet today and ordered a Galactic from Banks via the phone. Still do not know what it looks like, but I am sure if it is as good as my chronomat it will be fine. A little disapointed in my local AD but the girl in Banks was very good on the phone. Should be here well in time for the wifes birthday.
