After Doc Diesel's post yesterday about choosing between a Navi World and a Monty Legende (and my follow up reply saying how great the silver dial World is), I decided to take a trip to my AD this lunchtime. (A fatal mistake!)

Low and behold they had a silver dial World in the window! A quick "try on" and a small discount negotiated later, and out I walked with it! :D

I bought the head only as I have put my blue World back on the blue croco strap (it suits the blue dial far better IMHO) and the silver World will be going on the bracelet tonight.

Pictures will follow....

Hmmmm, lunch turned out to be a bit more expensive than just an M&S sandwich today!

Driver8,

Obviously you are regressing here. You now need ANOTHER 7 rowed Nav bracelet.

Hey Driver,

Bet you'll struggle to concentrate on your work this afternoon!

I truly admire your ability to buy on impulse like that. I'm STILL ulcerating over my next potential purchase (24h Chrono-Matic) several weeks after first trying one on.

Cheers,

Nick

 No, not this time Ling Man. Part of the way I can even remotely justify having two of the same watch is to have them as different as possible - so that's different dials and different bracelets/straps. At least one is on the bracelet!

You're not wrong, Nick! :)

My only advice on the 24h Chrono-Matic would be..... DO IT! That's a very nice watch by the way, and limited edition. I'd like something with a 24hour movement, but the one that really caught my eye was the Bentley Le Mans. They are 5 years old now though....

Driver, you're so right about the Le Mans. I know Admin loves it too. But it's even more money than the Chrono-Matic!!!!

Congratulations Driver! Sweet!

I haven't seen docs thread yet regarding World vs Monty (been out for a few days) but my reply would be the Legende. That's why I have the Legende and not the World...

However, well done and I'm really looking forward to walk through the gallery and see the promised pics!

Thanks for all your kind words guys!

OK, here are a couple of pics - newly put on the bracelet (and I'm loving it!). Not even set the time yet!

And here's one on the wrist -

And here's one of my blue World for the comparison on the blue croco.

I think they look different enough to be able to justify owning both (I hope!! ). I have to say I really think the bracelet suits the silver more than it did the blue. And I love the croco with the blue so I think I've got it right.

Great pics! Thanks, and congratulations!

As far as I'm concerned, that's different enough. And I believe you're right on the strap/bracelet idea too!

Have you tried the blue croco on the white nav world? I think it would look great with the blue numbers of the nav world, and the ss on the blue nav world seems quite nice to me too. Both are awesome and maybe I'll be fortunate to own one someday.
