Does anyone know if a 20 mm Sinn rubber strap with deployment would fit a Breitling? I'm looking for a less expensive alternative to the ocean racer for a superocean.

I love the ocean racer but it's a bit pricey for me.

What Breitling do you have? An older SuperOcean ...with 20mm lugs?

The problem as I see it, is that where the lug size may be ok, the scalloped part where the strap meets the case may sit high or low, depending on where the spring bar holes are drilled.

You may even resort to bending spring bars to make it fit.

Why not settle for a standard Pro Diver 1 rubber, or get the Ocean Racer style tang strap from Panatime et al, fitted with a Breitling buckle?

You shouldn't have a problem with any strap fitting - it's bracelets that are the problem. As long as you have 20mm lugs then you should be fine.

Yeah, it's an older SO A17360.

Thanks for the input. I really like the deployment buckle as opposed to the tang but I'm just considering all options for a sportier look with the SO.

The deployant is the expensive part. OEM Breitling rubber and deployant is $410. With tang, its $110. While $110 is still expensive for a rubber strap, its the more affordable way to stay OEM.
