I've joined the rapidly-growing 312 owners club on this site. Or, depending on your taste, I'm another step closer to completing the set from the "watches you dislike" thread.

Snapped a couple of quick pics this afternoon before the daylight disappears. Tricky watch to photograph, with the domed crystal and the polished bezel trying their best to reflect everything including me, the camera, the sky, items lying around my apartment... (The things you notice while waiting for the pics to upload - seems my coffee table needs a clean. )

This one has a lot of wrist presence. Very happy with it, no regrets about trading up from the 111.

Very very nice. Good luck with it. I was debating on whether to go with the 312 or 111, I like them both and I have no idea what I'll eventually do.

That's a beauty Otto. I assume that's an OEM croco strap there? Buckle or deployant?

I have to say I really REALLY like the OEM look on Pannies as so many people immediately stick Pannies on vastly thick aftermarket straps. The OEM croco just looks so refined IMO. Love it!

Thanks guys.

D8 - yep, it's the OEM black croc with buckle. It's not quite as shiny as it looks in the pics. I already have an OEM brown croc too, so I can get the same look as the 320. I'm with you on the straps, I have a couple of decent aftermarket straps but I really like the OEM crocs the most.

For some bizarre reason I overlooked your second picture when I asked if it was buckle or deployant! Yep that second picture makes it pretty obvious! Put it down to my slight hangover this morning.

Otto.. CONGRATS!!! It's a beaut! You're spot on, it has huge wrist presence!

I really love Pam's oem black croc with white stitching. I've been searching like a nut for one for my 312...no luck yet. Did yours come with that strap?

Congratulations Otto! Have to agree trying to take decent photos of the 312 was a real problem everything seemed to reflect of it!

Cheers

Congratulations Otto! Great wrist presence, very glad you're happy with it. Boy is that some reflection.

I'm not a Pan fan, but that really looks nice. Maybe others with their Pans just dont take very good pics. I really like how that looks. Nice piece bud.

Thanks again guys. It's on my wrist again today, impressions still good after 2 days of wear.

One thing I've noticed is that the date change feature is a bit unusual. When you pull the crown out to the first position, the hour hand uncouples (like a GMT) and you then move it back and forth in one-hour jumps until the correct date appears. I wasn't expecting this (I read a lot about this watch before I bought, but never saw this feature mentioned anywhere). I thought there must be something wrong with it at first. I HOPE there isn't something wrong with it... Seems like it would be a useful feature for changing timezones or adjusting to daylight saving time.

Yep, that's the one that normally comes with the 312, although I've seen a couple on the market with brown straps instead.
